A rocky start for two schools at the start of the new year

A tracking device on a school bus has led to the recovery of the vehicle, hours after it had been stolen from a farm in the Patensie area.
Police spokesperson, Priscilla Naidu, says the mini-bus which belongs to the Gamtoosvalley Primary School, was found at a known cooling-off spot in Kwazakhele, Port Elizabeth on Wednesday morning.
It had been stolen Tuesday night.
She says the school's logo had been removed but the vehicle was not damaged.
No arrests have been made.
Meanwhile East London police are investigating a case of arson after a fire at the Vula-mazibuko High School in Mdantsane destroyed two offices and a classroom early on Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson, lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku says the cause of the fire is not known. No one was injured.
According to school authorities teaching and learning are carrying on as normal.
