5 killed in head-on collision near Plettenberg Bay

Five people have died in a head on collision between a car and a truck on the N2 between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.

Police spokesperson, capt. Malcolm Pojie says the accident happened about 7km outside of Plettenberg Bay on Saturday evening.

He says three men and a baby boy died on impact, and a woman later died in hospital.

Pojie says 3 people in the truck sustained light injuries.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homocide.
