Port Elizabeth's St. George's College was one of several Eastern Cape schools to produce a 100 percent rate in the 2013 National Senior Certificate of the Independent Examinations Board.
Headmaster, Wayne Joubert, says "we are absolutely delighted" with the performance and "are proud of all their achievements."
Matriculant, Amy Pullen attained eight distinctions followed by Christopher Powels with six distinctions and Anika Keils with five distinctions.
Joubert says 'Christopher and Anika were ranked nationally in the top 1% of candidates for their performance in Geography and German respectively."
A further 9 pupils obtained 1 or 2 distinctions.
"Whilst we congratulate these top candidates for their exceptional achievements, we also commend the entire 2013 matric class, because for many of them these were their best examinations results that they obtained in their school career," he added.
