Three people were killed in a knife attack in the French city of Nice on Thursday.
The attack which happened at the heart of the Notre-Dame Basilica is believed to be a terrorist attack.
One of the three victims was an elderly woman who was beheaded when she arrived at church for prayers.
This is the second beheading in France this month.
According to the BBC, the second victim was a man who had his throat cut while the third victim, a woman, managed to flee to a nearby cafe where she died from multiple stab wounds.
Earlier this week, French President Emmanual Macron defended cartoons that depicted the Prophet, Mohammed.
His utterings have led to several protests over the past two days.
