The stunning Oscar-winning actress plays a mother and her doppelganger in the new horror movie US, written and directed by Jordan Peele.
Us is billed as a psychological horror film that follows a family who is confronted by a group of doppelgangers. While promoting the movie Lupita has remarked to the media that it was refreshing to have a middle-class black family on screen in a horror movie. Starring in the film with her are Winston Duke and Elizabeth Moss.
The film had its world premiere at on March 8 and was originally scheduled for theatrical release on March 15, but that date was pushed back a week to March 22.
