19 year old Tasché Burger has made history by becoming both the youngest and the first female contestant to win The Voice South Africa.
Her days as a part-time waitress from Brackenfell are most definitely over, she was a firm favourite and scooped the majority of the votes for the final week of the show.
She was announced the winner at a show stopping finale held Sunday night at the Mosaïek Teatro in Fairlands, Johannesburg.
This is the third time that a Captonian has won the title, season one winner, Richard Stirton and season two winner, Craig Lucas, were also from the Mother city.
As the winner Tashé walks away with a Toyota RAV4, a Telkom tech bundle with a Huawei P30 Pro, a Tab M5 Lite, a router, and a Huawei Watch GT, Telkom data, and an Anti-Theft Backpack; Truworths clothing vouchers to the value of R100 000 and a recording contract with Universal Music South Africa.
Congrats Tashé. If you missed it, watch her crowning moment right here.
