When he is not trying to do his bit to assist the underprivileged, 78-year-old Sir Rod is doing what he loves best – entertaining his fans.
And while many his age are happy to take each day as it comes, Rod told the BBC in a recent interview that “retiring” is not on the cards for him any time soon, but , he is looking to change musical genres from rock to swing after his extensive 2023 tour.
A tour that sees the music legend taking to the stage again alongside Boy George and Culture Club.
When the news first broke Stewart said: “ I’m absolutely thrilled to be sharing the stage with my dear old friend, Boy George & Culture Club for this run of special summer shows”.
“I’m excited for them to join me on what is sure to be a memorable set of concerts at a variety of special venues – some that I’ve been away from for a long time and some that I’ve never played before - football, cricket and rugby stadiums, estates and castles! We’ll all be dancing under the stars. If you haven’t already, go get your tickets. I can’t wait to see you out there!”
They have been taking to social media to spread the word.
Hello friends! Me and @BoyGeorge hit the road next week!
