Award-winning filmmaker Brett Michael Innes’ adaptation of the iconic classic Fiela Se Kind will have its debut at cinemas across South Africa today.
The book was first adapted into a film by Katinka Heynes in 1988 with Shaleen Surtie-Richards starring in the lead role. This time round Fiela Komoetie is played by stage actress Zenobia Kloppers. (pictured above)
The film was shot on location in both the Knysna Forest and Karoo.
