Idols S.A season 12 runner-up Thami Shobede has died.
The former Idols contestant passed away Thursday morning at Kalafong Hospital in Atteridgeville, Pretoria according to his record label Gallo Record Company. Thami was a fan favourite on Idols S.A 2016, and his voice secured him a spot in the final stages of the competition.
He went on to release his debut album titled 'Never Lost' in 2017, and more recently a hit single titled 'Angsajoli."
No other information has been provided regarding the cause of his untimely death.
