Since winning the title of Miss South Africa, stunning Zozibini Tunzi has come under fire from an unfortunate element on social media. From her “short hair” to her “blackness”, this group of critics, or trolls, are part of the extremely dark side of social media.
But now, Zozibini has penned a powerful message on Instagram that takes on these destructive social media commentators.
In her address, she states, “To whoever else thinks that black is not beautiful I cannot wait for you to experience the depth and magic of a black woman. I am a daughter of the African soil and I am beautiful. See your face reflected in mine??”
Zozibini will be carrying the South African flag high at the Miss Universe pageant in December in Seoul, North Korea. We have no doubt that our drop-dead gorgeous Miss SA, will do us proud.
