It has to be seen to be believed – the Brittany Spaniel turns heads wherever he goes as he walks the streets of Colorado on two legs.
His owner, Kentee Pasek, says walking on two legs isn't a trick she taught him but rather a self-taught adaptation he made after a near-death experience.
When Dexter was a puppy, he escaped from the yard, darted into traffic, and got hit by a car, losing one leg and severely damaging the other.
And while he did use a specially designed ‘wheelchair ‘ to get around for a while, one day Pasek set him down on her porch without the wheelchair.
What happened next amazed her!
Needless to say, Dexter has become something of an Instagram and TikTok star and often does meet-and-greets around Ouray, Colorado. He has his own Instagram page and TikTok platform and receives piles of mail every month from fans expressing heartfelt gratitude for his inspirational posts.
