After a five-year wait fans can enjoy the soaring vocals of Adele once again – ‘Easy on Me’ is an emotional ballad and the first single off her upcoming album which is expected to be titled 30.
Adele says of the song,' Easy On Me was about arguments you have in relationships'. The multi-time Grammy winner released the ballad at midnight U.K. time with a new music video, too.
On Instagram, she wrote: “I learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. “I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I've finally found my feeling again. I'd go as far as to say that I've never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I'm ready to release this album.”
Easy On Me is out now and 30 will hit shelves and streaming services on 19 November.
