Earlier this year Big Concerts announced that Seal would be performing in South Africa. The multi platinum selling artist will be performing in Johannesburg on 12 June, Durban on 14 June and Cape Town on 16 June and up until yesterday his opening act hasn't been announced.
Yesterday, 6 June, Big Concerts announced that the DRC- born, Durban based artist TRESOR will be Seals opening act. TRESOR is a is a multi award winning and platinum selling 2015 breakout singer-songwriter and producer. Even more significant about this opening act, is that before TRESOR reached his success, he was a car guard. All that happened seven years ago when he first moved to South Africa, now he has a hit with the likes of AKA and his has written songs for the likes of Zahara and Heavy K.
More recently he snagged an award at the 22nd Annual SAMAs for Best Pop Album.
