Toya Delazy may be on the other side of the world but via Instagram, she is spreading a global message for women everywhere to get themselves checked after a recent cancer scare.
Posting on her Instagram account she shared the news that she was glad to be recovering after a pap smear proved positive for pre-cancerous cells. Toya also thanked the NHS, the National Health System run by the UK government, while encouraging women everywhere to get an annual pap smear.
Co-incidentally Cervical Cancer prevention week runs in the UK from the 20th to the 26th January, in South Africa Cervical Cancer Awareness Month takes place every September.
