Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex have broken a record by reaching one million followers on their recently launched Instagram account in less than six hours, Guinness World Records has reported.
The @sussexroyal account went live on Tuesday with a post featuring the couple’s monogram symbol, since then, the account has garnered 3.1 million followers. Their first post saw them pushing ahead of the record previously held by the South Korean K-pop singer Kang Daniel, who reached one million followers in 11 hours, 36 minutes.
Harry and Meghan are expecting their first child together any day now and it remains to be seen if they will announce the arrival via their Instagram account. Below is the post that earned them their official entry into the Guinness World Records.
