It’s good news for 75-year-old Sir Mick Jagger as reports surface of his successful heart valve replacement surgery. The Stones No Filter Tour had been expected to start 20 April in Miami but was cancelled after doctors discovered, during a routine check-up, that something was not right with the rocker's heart.
A representative for Jagger said in a statement that he is "doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery".
Jagger thanked everyone for their support, tweeting on Friday evening: "Thank you everyone for all your messages of support.
"I'm feeling much better now and on the mend - and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job."

He will be monitored over the next week or two but he will undoubtedly not be on stage anytime soon.
The ageing rocker follows a strict health regime these days, with no drugs or alcohol, organic foods and a rigorous exercise regime to maintain his svelte frame and 28-inch wrist.
