From anonymity to overnight stardom - eighteen-year-old Emma Raducanu has the world at her feet after winning the US Open Saturday night.

The first British woman to win a Grand Slam title since Virginia Wade at Wimbledon in 1977, the Brits are understandably delighted at the teenager’s sporting prowess which looks set to make her a huge fashion influencer.

Hailing from the London suburb of Bromely, Raducanu, who sat her A-Levels just months ago, beat Canadian Leylah Fernadnez in straight sets in the final of the US Open.

And signaling that she already knew the value behind her victory off the sporting field as well, she donned a black strapless dress with white Nike trainers and Tiffany earrings, appearing every inch the star as she was congratulated, photographed, and interviewed by media from across the globe after her triumphant win.
