Millions of new fans have discovered the group thanks to their 1978 hit Rasputin featuring in a TikTok dance challenge that went viral last year “resulting in 8.93 million Rasputin TikTok dance videos created worldwide, viewed 22 billion times”.
It also earned them the auspicious title of “most successful black group of all time”.
The former lead vocalist of the group, Liz Mitchell, got to share her excitement about this global revival when she was interviewed by Sky’s Kay Burley Tuesday, November 7th.
