Ofentse Pitse is the whole package, she’s intelligent, gorgeous, talented, and innovative, having founded her musical collective Anchored Sound at the age of 27.
Now 30 years of age, Pitse is intent on pushing traditional musical boundaries in the hopes of fulfilling her vision of creating a Coachella-level experience. Pitse describes Anchored Sound as a mix of jazz, pop, electro house, and classical styles.
Anchored Sound consists of 20 choir members and 19 musicians, all handpicked by Pitse and many coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, they recently performed at a crowded Johannesburg Theatre to thunderous applause.
