The South African actress, model, radio and television personality who hosts the Lip Sync Battle Africa and who used to be the co-presenter on Metro FM is currently in New York filming the TV series Quantico. The series is an American television thriller that premiered in September 2015 and has received general positive reviews. Earlier this year many social media followers contemplated on whether Thusi was a part of the cast of Quantico after Priyanka Chopra posted an image on Instagram in July that included Pearl Thusi. Thusi has since confirmed that she is a part of the cast. It is acknowledged in her Twitter bio.
As for being engaged, these rumours first began when Thusi attended the SAMA's with a ring on left ring finger, however nothing was confirmed. Recently, according to timeslive, during an interview with HelloBeautiful, Thusi confirmed that she is engaged. Many believe it may be to Robert Marawa, the SA sports personality.
