Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson and film producer Jon Peters tied the knot on 20 January, only to end their relationship twelve day later.
According to Page Six, Peters ended the marriage via a text message. He described their union as a "beautiful, amazing love next" and said "it made me realise that at 74, I need a simple, quiet life and not an international love affair.
Therefore I think the best thing we can do is that I'm going to go away for a couple of days and maybe you need to go back up to Canada.
The world knows we did and I think now we need to go our own separate ways. I hope that you can forgive me."
The pair first dated 30 years ago, and reunited recently in what Peters called a "whirlwind romance."
