Meta closely monitoring invasion in Ukraine

Meta has been working to ensure the protection and support of communities as Putin continues his attack on Ukraine.

The company has added several features to help keep people safe, one of which is a tool to lock profiles in one step and help ensure that information remains private and secure.

They have also appealed to everyone in Ukraine and in particular the military, public figures, and journalists to up their online security.

Meta is also committed to fighting the spread of misinformation on its apps by putting more restrictions and transparency on state-controlled media outlets to help people know if what they see is coming from a publication that may be under the influence of a government.

And according to Daily Mail, Facebook and Instagram will allow posts calling for Putin's death and violence against Russian soldiers in a temporary change to its hate speech policy.
