Ed Sheeran has a number 1 hit single in the U.K and promises fans new music.
Sheeran released bad habits towards the end of June, this year and the single debuted on the U.K charts, receiving a favourable response from fans.
The single has produced 92 000 chart sales including 8.7 million streams which makes it Sheeran’s 10th U.K No.1.
Sheeran took to Instagram to share his joy with fans, “I’m absolutely over the moon and did not expect this start at all”.
“Loads more music on the way soon, but for now I’m going to crack open a beer and toast to you lot.”
This promise of more new music by the singer tells fans that soon Sheeran will release his fifth studio album.
Details of the release date and title have not been announced.
