From girl group Fifth Harmony to successful solo career, and now Cinderella.
It seems Camila Cabello is living her own fairytale as she moves from one joyful project to the next.
Cabello who is very active and vocal about all of her projects on social media, posted the following on her Instagram on Thursday, “#CinderellaMovie, this was one of the most magical experiences of my life.”
“I can’t wait for you to see it”.
The comment is accompanied by a trailer for Cinderella which shows off Cabello’s singing talent and comedic timing.
It also offers a modern-day twist, casting the fairy god mother with male actor, Billy Porter, who plays Fab G.
The director of the Amazon Prime Video film, Kay Canon said, “I couldn't wait to tackle this classic fairy tale and give it a more contemporary version of the character.”
“One that was empowered, active, vocal, and wasn't content to just sit back and wait for some prince to rescue her.”
“Add to that jokes and songs and this film has everything that I love.”
The film debuts on Friday, 3 September.
