Celebrated Durban-born chef, Jenny Morris, has announced the passing of her husband David due to complications from covid 19.
Affectionately known as the "The Giggling Gourmet", Morris took to Facebook to announce the sad news saying,” it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and role model. The Family humbly requests privacy during this time of mourning.”
Sixty-nine years old David Morris, was admitted to the hospital a couple of weeks ago after contracting Covid-19.

Jenny herself also contracted the virus and was admitted to the hospital at the same time, she has since recovered and has been cautioning the public to take the virus seriously.
