Britney Spears is celebrating a move in the right direction following the latest development in her ongoing conservatorship battle.

39-year-old Spears has won the right to appoint her own lawyer with the judge having accepted the resignation of attorney Samuel Ingham and allowing Mathew Rosengart to represent her. Rosengart has stated that he will petition "as soon as possible" to remove Jamie Spears as his client's conservator.

Spears, shared a clip with her faithful fans on Instagram of herself doing cartwheels in celebration of the news.
