A United States tourist was airlifted off Table Mountain this morning after losing her way on a hike.
Emergency medical services spokeswoman Keri Davids said a tour guide was walking near Kasteelspoort around 9am when he heard a woman's voice.
An aerial sweep was conducted and the woman was found about 100 metres down from where the tour guide and his group of clients were.
She was airlifted and they landed at the cable way station parking area."
The woman said she had been hiking with a group around 4pm on Wednesday when they became separated.
She was stuck on the mountain the whole evening, but had no signs of hypothermia.
