Two people died after a light two-seater aircraft crashed and burst into flames in Phalaborwa in Limpopo on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Ronel Otto says the aircraft crashed just after it took off from the Phalaborwa airfield.
She says a man, aged, 42, and another, aged 60, died instantly.
Otto says civil aviation authorities will investigate the cause of the accident.
