Five youths were killed when a bakkie they were travelling in overturned in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga.
Spokesperson for the community safety department, Joseph Mabuza says a Nissan Navara was transporting
approximately 13 young people and was driven by a teenager estimated to be 14-years-old.
He says five people were declared dead at the scene, while six others were seriously injured, including the driver.
The province's MEC for Community Safety and Liaison, Vusi Shongwe has called for the arrest of the owner of the vehicle, as the accident could have been avoided by not allowing youngsters to access the vehicle.
