Two men are due to appear in court on Friday for the murder of an Mpumalanga businessman on Christmas Day.
Police in Bethal said the men, aged 28 and 34, were arrested late on the same day and two firearms and ammunition were also seized.
A spokesperson said that the deceased, Bongani Manana, who was in his thirties, was apparently involved in an argument with patrons at his business when he was shot.
He died later in hospital.
Meanwhile, Mpumalanga police also reported the murder of another business owner who was gunned down in his premises in Machadadorp during a robbery.
According to a SAPS statement, the man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes, as well as a machine for airtime before being fatally wounded.
