Authorities in Tshwane said that three boys drowned at a waterlogged park at Refense in the Hammanskraal area north of Pretoria.
The Metro’s Emergency Services said the bodies of two boys were recovered by members of the community on Thursday.
Members of Tshwane Emergency Services who rushed to the scene recovered the body of the third child.
News 24 identified two of the boys as brothers, Keamogetswe, 8, and Keatlegile Baloyi, 10.
The name of the third boy has not been released.
