Two die in light aircraft crash

 Two people died on Thursday when a light aircraft crashed while approaching to land at a private airfield near Klipheuwel in the Western Cape.

ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson says the aircraft caught alight after it crash landed.

She says when the rescuers arrived, there was nothing more that could be done for the two occupants.

Jackson added that no further details were available and that the authorities would investigate the cause of the crash.
