Two men were arrested by members of a joint investigative team for the murder of Pofadder hotel owner, Leon Brits.
He was stabbed to death on 7 October.
Police said one suspect, aged 37, was arrested at Piketberg in the Western Cape while a 34-year-old suspect was arrested at Kathu in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District.
Northern Cape Acting Provincial Police Commissioner Major-General Phiwe Mnguni has applauded the Investigating team for the arrests.
The suspects are due to appear in court on Monday.
Police investigations are continuing.
