Two suspects are behind bars for allegedly killing an off-duty police officer in Johannesburg.
Police commissioner, General Khehla Sitole, welcomed the arrests within 24 hours of the shooting of the Warrant Officer who was gunned down in Extension 1 in Eldorado Park on Thursday.
He said further investigations are underway to establish their possible links to other crimes.
“At this point, the two have been linked to an attempted murder case reported at Eldorado Park SAPS after the fatal shooting of the member,” he said.
The motive for the policeman’s murder is still unknown.
