Two men were arrested in Kakamas in the early hours of Thursday morning after police discovered 38 kg of skunk hidden on their premises.
A spokesperson for Northern Cape police Captain CJ Prins says the dagga, known as skunk, was found hidden in the ceiling and buried in the garden.
He says the estimated value of the drugs is R968 000.000.
The two men in their thirties are expected to appear in court soon.
Skunk is made from unpollinated dagga plants which naturally contain higher levels of THC, it is also more likely to give you paranoia or hallucinations.
