Police in Westenburg outside Polokwane arrested four suspects, found in possession of a hijacked trailer and groceries worth over a million Rand.
It is alleged that the truck was hijacked in Delmas in Mpumalanga on Thursday, before the stolen groceries were delivered to a Supermarket in Nirvana, Polokwane.
Limpopo police say the arrests follow a tip-off which led them to the Supermarket where they found the trailer and groceries.
The truck with the estimated value of over R900 000. 00 was found abandoned in the Bela-Bela policing area.
The suspects aged between 27 and 33 are expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrates Court on Monday.
More arrests are expected.
