The ANC is busy reconstituting the ANC Youth League after recently disbanding its leadership.
The ruling party has appointed a 22-member national task team to oversee the structures of the Youth League.
ANC deputy secretary-general, Jessie Duarte, says all branches will be audited.
"The regions of the youth league and the sub regions of the youth league will need some attention by the national task team, primarily they will begin to work with provincial structures that are still in tact and in place to begin to assess how far down they must go" Duarte said.
Meanwhile she has denied that there's a rift between members of the ANC's national executive committee.
This follows criticism of government's National Development Plan from ANC alliance partners, particularly Cosatu affiliated union, Numsa.
Duarte said they're just having a difference of opinion and are not enemies.
"If people have views that are different to views that are stated in the National Development plan, then that is a conversation we must have with one another fairly rationally. My understanding is that we will have that conversation when we meet with the alliance secretariat" she said.
