Four people were arrested in Bedfordview, Gauteng, this morning, when they were found in possession of a rhino horn after a car crash.
Police spokesperson, Lt-Col Tshisikhawe Ndou says their vehicle crashed into another car on the N3.
He says after the accident, the driver of the other car saw them hiding a cooler bag under a nearby tree.
Ndou says police discovered the rhino horn in the cooler bag and it was still bleeding.
He says members of the Hawks were called to the scene and arrested the four suspects, aged between 19 and 33.
They will appear in Court on Monday.
