Scholars killed by "out of control" bus

Two scholars were killed and a third critically injured Thursday afternoon when they were hit by an out-of-control bus on a district road near Nelspruit in Mpumalanga.

Netcare 911 says the boys had been walking on the side of the road when they were hit by the bus.

Spokesperson, Jeffrey Wicks, says two boys died on the scene while the third was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

He says the cause of the accident and the series of events leading up to it will form the subject of a police investigation.
