A suspect will appear in the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday for allegedly having counterfeit money worth R2 million.
Spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo says the man and an accomplice booked into a guesthouse in Pretoria West on Friday and appeared suspicious.
He says police, were called to the scene and when they approached the room, the one suspect ran away.
Police found counterfeit money, in R100 and R200 notes to the value of R2 million in the room.
He will appear in court on Monday.
