Street child in court for murder

 A 13-year-old street child has appeared briefly in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old boy on New Year's Eve.

Archibald Lethabele died after being stabbed in the chest.

The suspect was a street child who was tracked down and arrested by police on Monday.

He appeared briefly in court on Wednesday and is being held in a place of safety.
