The Hawks have arrested a suspect for his alleged involvement in a large drug consignment discovered in Pretoria in June.
Spokesperson, Colonel Philani Nkwalase says this brings to six the number of suspects arrested.
He says the 48-year-old was nabbed in Strand, in the Western Cape on Friday following the discovery of 805kg of cocaine worth an estimated R400 million in the hull of a boat on the N1 last month.
The suspect is expected to make his first court appearance in the Pretoria Central Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Colonel Nkwalase says he will be back in court on the 23rd of this month together with the other five suspects for a formal bail application.
He says three more suspects, including an Israeli national, are still at large.
