The Chief Financial Officer at the National Health Laboratory Services has appeared in court for fraud.
Fifty-seven-year-old Michael Sass and 32-year-old company director, Felicia Sekete, appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crimes in Gauteng this morning.
Hawks spokesperson, Colonel Katlego Mogale, said the two were appearing on charges relating to a multi-million rand PPE tender awarded by the National Health Laboratory Services.
She said they were arrested this morning by members of the Serious Corruption Investigation Unite of the Hawks.
"The case was postponed to 5 October for further investigation after they were granted bail of R 20 000 each," Mogale said.
