At least six people were killed and approximately sixty others were injured when a bus crashed off a bridge on the N3 near Heidelburg in Gauteng on Sunday morning.
ER24's Russel Meiring says emergency services found the bus on its roof on the side of the road.
He says six people were declared dead at the scene.
Meiring says some of the critically injured were provided with advanced life support before they were transported to nearby hospitals.
The cause of the accident is unknown, and local authorities are investigating.
