Kwazulu Natal police arrested seven men who were found in possession of counterfeit cigarettes and hair weaves valued at close on R1m.
The men, aged between 20 and 36, were arrested on Friday night in the Hluhluwe CBD following a tip-off.
A police spokesperson said one of the suspects allegedly offered police officers a bribe of R100 000 for their release.
They face charges of the possession of counterfeit goods, bribery and contravening the Immigration Act.
They will appear in court on Monday.
