Second man dies after explosion in Durbanville

 A second man has died following an explosion at a gas factory in Durbanville in Cape Town.

The city's fire and rescue services said on Thursday that he died in hospital overnight.

Spokesperson, Theo Layne, says the blast occurred on Wednesday afternoon during maintenance work at the Global Gases building in the town.

A man was killed and six people were injured.

One person lost both legs, while another lost one.

Four others sustained minor injuries.
