The SA Transport and Allied Workers' Union has lashed out at the Passenger Rail Agency of SA, for accusing it of torching six trains in Johannesburg.
Satawu general-secretary, Zenzo Mahlangu says they are against any kind of criminal activity, and for Prasa to implicate arson, is a direct attack on the union.
Earlier today, Prasa said that six trains were torched yesterday by striking workers, who were incited by the trade union.
Five men had been arrested.
Mahlangu says Prasa's allegations deflect attention away from its own mismanagement.
