A 33-year-old man has been arrested following the murder of a couple on a farm in Bonnievale in the Langeberg area of the Western Cape this past week.
Police said the suspect was arrested in McGregor on Sunday morning.
He was found to be in possession of one of the items taken from the couple, Piet Steyn and his wife Elmien, who were both in their seventies.
Police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa, said the suspect is due to appear in court on Tuesday.
As the investigation continued more arrests could be on the cards, Potelwa said.
