Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says the latest victim had stage 4 prostate cancer and died in Parklands Hospital in KwaZulu Natal.
Seven of the 13 COVID-19 fatalities have occurred in KwaZulu-Natal.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson remains in ICU as he receives treatment for Covid19.
The 55-year-old Johnson, the world’s first known head of government to fall ill with the virus, was conscious in a London hospital and needed oxygen but was not on a ventilator, according to Cabinet minister Michael Gove.

Worldwide, more than 1.3 million people have been confirmed infected and over 76,000 have died from the virus.
