The number of rhinos poached so far this year has climbed to 633.
SA National Park says 266 people have been arrested.
Spokesperson, Albie Modise, says of those arrested 237 are suspected poachers, 18 were couriers and 11 people allegedly received rhino horn.
The Kruger National Park continues to bear the brunt, having lost 395 rhinos to poaching so far this.
The North West, KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo provinces are also in the cross-hares of the poachers and account for the loss of 197 rhinos.
